THE Isle of Mull is Scotland’s third largest island and is very easy to reach.
It’s a speedy 45 minutes on the ferry from Oban on the mainland to the village of Craignure on Mull and you get the wee bonus of seeing Lismore Island and the lighthouse on the small island of Eilean Musdile.

The Isle of Iona
Drive on down to Fionnphort and take the ferry (leave your car behind) and in 10 minutes you’ll be on the idyllic island of Iona. Soak up the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere as you stroll to the famous Iona Abbey. The cute cottages, little whitewashed shops and winding lanes are beautifully located next to the white sand beaches and turquoise waters.
